Choice of path.
Invariably...when a relationship has soured...an end is imminent...
Unless it is amicable(which is uncommon)...things may get messy...
If one party has chosen to quit(for whatever reason/s or excuse/s)...while the other is unwilling...not uncommon...for the reluctant party...to try and salvage...the doomed union...
Ultimately...it ends...or does it...?
Some individuals...openly agree to an end...
However...they might head towards...a different choice...other than acceptance...
Harbouring hatred for the...intolerable pain(perhaps...in some cases...shame...)...they choose...the path of VENGEANCE...
Others...choose the more logical approach...INDIFFERENCE...
Which would you choose or have chosen previously...?

I don't know. It depends on the nature of break up, whether the guy had been fair to me, whether he had been decent.
