I happen to be a stickler for the use of proper spelling and grammar. And I hate the use of all the internet / texting slang and acronyms.

If someone writes to me and says that I have peaked their interest - I'm sorry to say, they're going to have an uphill climb from there!

Doesn't take but a minute to find the correct spelling And then have this place whittle up a bunch of words into a undecipherable mess. Using more than all the road!

I used to spell... reel good. Than... something happened and I lost that skill Now, I relie on spell Czech and word preedict... to help me out. Thank goodnes for that! You know I sometimes wonder what people are thinking when they write things here on the site. The spelling is atrocious for the most part, and I am guilty at time for accidentally omitting a word because I am typing to fast. So I apologize if my writing sometimes isn't up to par either. I hope your staying cool hun this week is going to be a SCORCHER.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

My grammar peeve is the word "got". As in "you've got to". It is extraneous. "You have to" works just as well and does not sound like a l0 year old.

It is for these almost random peeks my lady , that we scourge the blogland, hoping to pique an eloquent lady's interest, and maybe- just maybe- have it peaked into a potential response.... Or as like someone says on the comments … forgive a lot of slurs …  ,due to our magnanimity ( or lecherous nature )  Cheers - P

I'm the same, I like to see proper grammar and correct punctuation. But given the use of autocorrect and stuff like that, I dare say some mistakes do creep in. Something that bugs me is using the wrong word completely. Like when some people write they say they keep their socks in a "draw". No, the word is drawer. However, I'm at the age where I'm struggling with some words. Like I really have to think about the difference between past and passed.
