 get the little caramel squares....like the originals. I think by Kraft ? They have remained unchanged....tho they were probably originally produced with a bit of salt. Most things commercially made use salt as a preservative ~~

 From the land of conspiracy - (This is just fun, not for real). The pharmaceutical industry is paying them to add salt. The purpose is the raise blood pressure, thus increasing sales of new drugs.
