 I think so. It costs 4000 points for one month gold membership, but it needs to be a Confirm ID so that means verified passport, driving licence.

 And just to clarify. I don't think you can buy it on their behalf, you'd need to donate the points and they buy it on their own profile.

"Get ConfirmID and earn an extra 500 points! " - so they might get some points back if the site is feeling generous.

 Yes any one with enough points can " buy " gold with them, now be warned, to "tip' some one you lose 20 %, a tax or house fee, if you get them on CAM and tip them they get 100%, ENJOY AND PLAY THE GAME.....
