I'm glad to hear you don't need surgery. It sounds like an injury I had several years ago... just took time, lots of time. Be patient.

Maybe you're at the point I was a few years ago. I now take my turmeric curcumin pill everyday. It really really helps the joints. I'm 70 and still run sub 7 min miles. I could barely walk long distances let alone jog a hundred feet until I began taking it. Look on Ama zon for Holistic brand. I've tried different brands but they are tops in my book. Sux getting old but you don't have to suffer.

I have two torn rotator cups. I can't throw a baseball with immediate and severe pain. But you learn not to throw baseballs! LOL And going to the gym helps tremendously. Like you, I opted out of surgery. Of course only have VA insurance plays a big part in that. They don't make it easy.

Did you know someone who owned a dragster? We may have met once if you did. He was working on my car at his farm. You were very pretty. I know young girls like guys that play the guitar. But old farts like me? We like listening to the piano. Ever been to a Kissin concert? Now there's someone i truly enjoy listening to.

We did know someone that raced, his name is Sonny. He claimed that he and his sister won the Lottery years ago, and he purchased one of Scott Kalitta's race cars. We didn't believe him... lol. Nice guy, but if he was racing and winning, you think he would've bought a few rounds of drinks. hahahaha
Oh well, I was raised on a farm, I play piano professionally, never seen Kissin. But I've seen KISS!! They ROCK!!

Sorry to hear this news, but I can vouch for the benefit of anti-inflammatory drugs plus PT. Good luck.

That's good to hear! I've never really had an injury before, just the pesky tendinitis.

I know it is tough recovering from an injury. Wishing you the best of luck.

Yeah, age is a state of mind not a number. Problem is lately mine is a state of emergency. lol ... A reminder that pain is your body telling you you are still alive so I guess we need to enjoy our pain while we still can and grab all the pleasure that we can. I'm glad you removed the piercings before the MRI. That could have been a disaster Luv. Water aerobics can be a great way to reduce the pain through exercise. I recovered from back surgery that way. My blog JimmyB7474 is called Into The Woods (erotica) entertaining stories about a guy named Jimmy. Enjoy.

I've never had a major surgery, so I'm glad, too, that it's not serious. Water aerobics, huh? Hmmmmmm
